Per-Anders Gråberg rode three winners in the rain at Bro Park and settled the day’s best-paid race by the minimum on the back of the Patrick Wahl-trained Green Exceed. Kajsa Svensson Holmsten was behind the only training double on the card, and Niels Petersen’s Bullet Bling won the three-year-old race by seven lengths.
It was Per-Anders Gråberg’s afternoon at Bro Park. In rain and 14 degrees he rode three of the seven winners, which brought in 142,440 Swedish kronor of the day’s total of 595,500.
Gråberg opened in the Class 5 race over 1600 metres on the dirt track, where Stall Malmborg HB’s Magically (Intello) won comfortably by two lengths. Caroline Malmborg also had the runner-up, Forty Love (Juniper Tree).
The winning three-year-old filly was bred by Tor Harry Sigfridsson.
The day’s best-paid contest, the Class 2 handicap over 1200 metres worth 114,000 kronor, was settled after a tight duel.
Gråberg got Green Exceed (Exceed And Excel) pressed home in front of Julian McLaren’s I Am Yankee (Freud) with Malin Holmberg, while Dreamdust (Zoffany) finished third, half a length away.
The five-year-old gelding is trained by Patrick Wahl and runs for Rönnsumak Ent, Heudden and Blondino.
Gråberg’s third triumph came in the juvenile maiden, where Rc-Horse HB’s Lady Is Back (Starman) won easily by a length and a quarter for Roy Arne Kvisla. Patrick Wahl’s Michelle Est Belle (Appel Au Maitre) followed in second, while Franklin (Barocci) was third.
In the day’s other two-year-old race — the 2-årslöpning over 1600 metres worth 100,000 kronor — Maikel Narvaez Bravo answered back.
He won comfortably by a length and three-quarters on Ksh Racing AB’s Great Lou (Calyx). Next came Niels Petersen’s Jacanito (Torquator Tasso) and Ylva Brandt’s Merry Ann T (Churchill), separated by the minimum.
It was Narvaez Bravo’s second win of the day, and both came for the same trainer. Kajsa Svensson Holmsten had also won the Class 3 handicap with Teleko Racing’s Nova Kalejs (Space Blues), who on her long-awaited comeback beat Dharwin (Moohaajim).
The training double was the only one on the card.
Niels Petersen, for his part, had the most convincing performance of the day. In the three-year-old race over 1600 metres on dirt, Bling Enterprise’s Bullet Bling (Violence) won emphatically by seven lengths under Carlos Lopez, ahead of Annika Sjökvist’s Sir Brian (Zaahid) and Euro (Mutajally).
The day closed with the purebred Arabians, where Terese Compier both trains and owns the winner:
Madja De Faust (Madjani) won comfortably by a length and three-quarters under Alina Öhgren, ahead of Camilla Nilsson’s Rich Al Tair (Al Tair) and Top Notch MKR (Dahess).
