Easywithme gives Lopez and Petersen a fourth win of the day in the Elkær Stutteri Fawzia Stakes

Niels Petersen and Carlos Lopez continued their remarkable Derby Day as Easywithme won the Elkær Stutteri Fawzia Stakes – the pair’s fourth shared win of the day.

There was something familiar about the picture by now, as Easywithme (El Kabeir) crossed the line first in the Elkær Stutteri Fawzia Stakes worth DKK 150,000: once again it was Niels Petersen as trainer and Carlos Lopez in the saddle – for the fourth time on Derby Day 2026.

The five-year-old mare, owned by Niels Petersen himself, won the fillies’ and mares’ contest by half a length from the Søren Jensen-trained Sunday Fudge (Reliable Man), who earlier this season won the Bloomers’ Vase at Bro Park. Bent Olsen’s Good To Go (Zoffany) was third.

Easywithme has a habit of delivering on the big days – it was she who won the Margareta Wettermarks Minneslöpning on Svenskt Derby day for the second year running – and the first prize of DKK 75,000 added another chapter to a fine record.
