The Søren Jensen-trained Cosmopolitan and Jules Mobian emerged victorious from Saturday evening’s Bucherer Danish Derby 2026. After a furious finish, last season’s Criterium winner swept safely past Bettina Andersen’s King To Be, who carried the hopes of the entire Stald Klampenborg syndicate.
Cosmopolitan (Make Believe) is owned by Stald Shaker, alias Marianne and Jens Ditlev Lauritzen, and like the runner-up King To Be (Moohaajim) he was bred at Stutteri Hjortebo.
Third place went to the Tina Mortensen-trained Red Moondancer (Appel Au Maitre), while Albarella (Toronado) and Daylight (Gleneagles) claimed the remaining prize money.
