Danish outfit Airborne Racing’s three-year-old Icefall led all the way over the 2200 metres in Wednesday’s Derby Next Stop at Jägersro. Johansen rode more than 900,000 in on a ‘so near, so far’ day

Jacob Johansen had a remarkable Sunday at Bro Park. It produced no fewer than four second places, including in the 1000 Guineas, the 2000 Guineas and Bro Park Vårsprint (L), as well as a third place in Stockholms Stora Pris (Gr.3). But he was also first past the post twice, and ended up riding more than 900,000 Swedish kronor home for the owners.
