Svensk Galopp has published its season plan for 2027. There will be 54 race days — exactly as many as this year — from the opener at Bro Park on Sunday 4 April to the closing Sunday at the same track on 19 December. All 54 days are now in GalopSport’s racing calendar.

Derby on 18 July
Svenskt Derby is run on Sunday 18 July – and for the last time – at Jägersro, with the first race at 16.30. Three weeks later, on Sunday 8 August, Svenskt Oaks follows, while Jägersro opens the big-race season as early as Sunday 16 May with Pramms Memorial (L). Voterlöpning is added on Sunday 30 May.
June is spread across four tracks: Nationaldagsgaloppen at Gärdet on Sunday 6 June, Svenskt Grand National at Strömsholm on Saturday 12 June, the Guineas day with Stockholms Stora Pris at Bro Park on Sunday 13 June and Jockeyklubbens Grand Prix at the same track on Sunday 27 June.
The autumn is busier. Göteborgs Stora Pris is run on Sunday 15 August, the Breeders’ day at Bro Park on Sunday 29 August and Stockholm Cup International (Gr.3) on Sunday 19 September.
Then come Svenskt St Leger at Göteborg on Saturday 2 October, SFK:s Jubileumslöpning at Jägersro on Sunday 3 October, Songline Classic (L) at Bro Park on Sunday 31 October and Svenskt Kriterium at Jägersro on Sunday 7 November.
More Sundays, more evenings
The number of days is the same as in 2026, but the weekly pattern looks different. Sundays rise from 28 to 33, Wednesdays fall from 15 to 10, and there will be nine evening meetings against six this year.
Bro Park has 25 of the 54 days, Jägersro 19 and Göteborg eight. Added to those are the two single-day fixtures: Gärdet on 6 June and Strömsholm on 12 June.
The post times follow a fixed pattern. Sundays start at 11.30, the Wednesday lunch meetings at 12.00 and the evening cards at 17.30. The exceptions are Derby day at 16.30, Stockholm Cup day at 13.30 and the two midday fixtures at 12.00 — Nationaldagsgaloppen at Gärdet and St Leger Saturday at Göteborg.
The calendar is published subject to change.
How to find the days

You do not have to look for them. On GalopSport’s front page the coming race days are listed one by one, five at a time, and below the list you find Previous · Today · Next, so you can move forward to next week as well as back to last week’s card. Click a day open and you get it as a page of its own.
For the full overview, follow the Month view link on the front page calendar card — or Calendar in the menu. There you can filter on Denmark, Sweden, Norway and International, and you can search your way forward in the search field: type Derby, Jägersro or a month. The search works in the list as well as in the month view.
Switch to Month and you get the whole month as a grid with arrows between the months.
Page forward to July 2027 and the seven Swedish days stand in their own dates — Sweden in gold, Denmark in green and Norway in sand — and 18 July is one click from the Derby day’s own page. On mobile the month becomes a day list, so you do not have to zoom into a grid.
