2-year-old Breeze Up colt for Stall Irish Coffee and Jan-Erik Neuroth

At last week’s newly introduced Breeze Up sale Aktem in Paris, Stall Irish Coffee secured a 2-year-old colt by the French Criterium and 2000 Guineas winner Victor Ludorum. “He goes into training with Jan-Erik Neuroth at Øvrevoll”, Swede Jesper Kask tells GalopSport.

The 2-year-old colt is the fourth foal out of the unraced Muhaarar mare Borana, who is herself a half-sister to the Criterium de Saint-Cloud (Gr.1)-winning stallion Robin Of Navan (American Post), and from the same female family as the four-time Japanese Group 1 winner Lys Gracieux.

“We bought the colt from Ardglas Stables, who were also behind our former Norwegian 1000 Guineas winner Havannas Dream, and he looks to be a sensible horse with good physique and action”, continues Kask, who for a number of years has been the driving force behind the successful syndicate Stall Irish Coffee.

Besides the aforementioned Havannas Dream (Lord Shanakill), names such as the Listed winner Seaside Song (Harbour Watch), Little Crow (Sioux Nation) and currently Just Jameson (Ghaiyaath) have been the standard-bearers.

Just Jameson is also trained by Jan-Erik Neuroth, for whom he had a successful 3-year-old season last year with four wins from seven starts.

Just Jameson made his seasonal debut on 24 May in the Jägersro Cup with a second place behind the Rikke Bonde-trained Chappel (Appel Au Maitre).

“There are still some shares for sale in our new breeze up investment, so if that is of interest you can simply contact me or Jan-Erik”, Jesper Kask concludes.
