On Saturday, Aalborg Væddeløbsbane stages the biggest day of the year for the thoroughbreds. Six contests are on the card from 2 pm, among them the Racing Arena Aalborg Champion Stakes, the Elkær Stutteri Fuldblodsfond Ærespræmieløb, and the first leg of the brand-new 3-year-old series, which is also sponsored by Elkær Stutteri’s Fuldblodsfond.
In the Racing Arena Aalborg Champion Stakes, seven runners meet over 1,800 metres, and it will be exciting to see whether Tina Mortensen’s in-form 7-year-old The Patriot (Primatico) can take his fourth straight win of the current season.
