For the first time this year GalopSport presents here a Danish statistic covering the stallions based in Denmark, or that have been, such as the sadly deceased Go Go Gadget and Wilshire Boulevard. Denmark is a small racing nation with relatively few races, and it therefore makes good sense to calculate it over a two-year period.

Otherwise we can refer to DVK, where the statistics for the current season alone can be found.
I have included stallions with at least 10 foals to race, and with earnings of a minimum of DKK 200,000 on the Danish tracks.
Hardly anyone will be surprised that Appel Au Maitre leads by a distance, but measured on averages there are in fact several who match the multiple Danish and overall Scandinavian champion.
The Derby win by Grab The Moment also underlined how big a loss Go Go Gadget’s death earlier this year is. Not only for Stutteri Thorskovgaard, but for Danish thoroughbred breeding as a whole.
In the statistics for 2025 alone, Go Go Gadget is a clear number two.
The statistics are calculated for all of 2024 and up to Friday 22 August 2025.
