Annika Delinder expanded her Jägersro stable on Tuesday with two colt yearlings by Supremacy and Kodi Bear. The two purchases were made less than an hour apart, with assistance from agent Martin Buick.
The first purchase was lot 530, a bay colt by Supremacy (Mehmas) out of the American two-year-old winner Southern Gal (Scat Daddy), who has already produced two winners, both by Yeomanstown’s Dark Angel (Acclamation).
Southern Gal is herself out of Southern Charmer (Dixie Union), a Stakes-placed daughter of the Grade 3 winner Power Play (Fast Play) and a half-sister both to the Listed winner Vegas Play and to the Stakes-placed Skipper’s Mate, who in turn is the dam of the Group 2-winning stallion Frac Daddy.
A short while later on Tuesday, Delinder and Buick also secured lot 555, a bay colt by Kodi Bear (Kodiac) out of the unraced Oasis Dream mare Surf. Surf is a half-sister to the French Listed winner Monette and is out of the German Eleona (Areion), who is Listed-placed and a full sister to the dual Group 3 winner Earl Of Fire.
Annika Delinder has saddled seven winners from 35 runners in 2026, giving her a strike-rate of 20 per cent.
