As international interest in Scandinavian horse racing has grown in recent years, the demand for GalopSport’s news and articles in an English version has been steadily rising. Today, GalopSport has launched an English version of the website, along with the option of choosing between English and Danish in every single story.

As a starting point, all future stories from 7 August 2026 onwards will be available in both a Danish and an English version, but the option also exists in a number of selected earlier articles – including from Derby Day 2026 at Klampenborg and several of the year’s other big race days on the Scandinavian tracks.
How to do it
In the bottom left-hand corner of the screen sits a small flag that follows you wherever you are on the site. On the Danish pages it shows the Union Jack and the text EN — click it, and you switch to English.
If you are on the GalopSport front page, the flag takes you to the English main page with the overview of the latest articles. If you are already reading a Danish article, you get that very story in its English version straight away.
The flag works in exactly the same way on smartphone and tablet, where it also sits in the bottom left-hand corner — and on the English pages it turns around to show the Danish flag and DK, so you can always find your way back to the Danish version.
Enjoy the English version of GalopSport, which I hope will bring pleasure to all our international readers.
