Roy Arne Kvisla sent a two-year-old debutant to Göteborg on Sunday afternoon, and Beeorenottobee did the job at the first attempt. The son of Bee Jersey crossed the line ahead of Inns Of Magic and secured Rc-Horse HB the first prize of SEK 45,000 — and at the same time he completed Per-Anders Gråberg’s treble.
The American-bred colt won the maiden over 1,200 metres on grass by three-quarters of a length from Hans-Inge Larsen’s Inns Of Magic (Inns Of Court), who had two starts behind her, while there were a further six lengths back to Catharina Vång’s Sahara Lake (Oasis Dream) in third.
Sophia Andersson’s Tohightobeonline (Armor) was fourth on her own debut, and then followed Transvaal Train (Churchill) and Winorloose AF (Red Jazz) in the remaining prize-money positions.
Four of the eight runners were making their first start.

Beeorenottobee is by the Metropolitan Handicap (G1) winner Bee Jersey and out of the unraced Perfect Soul mare Perfect Lady, and he was bred in the USA by Charles Fipke. He is owned by Rc-Horse HB and trained by Roy Arne Kvisla at Bro Park.
Rc-Horse HB bought the chestnut colt for $45,000 at last year’s Fasig-Tipton October Yearlings Sale in Kentucky, and he is a half-brother to the Singspiel Stakes (G3) winner Ready For The Lady (More Than Ready) as well as a full brother to two other winners in the USA and Canada.
The second dam Lady Shakespeare (Theatrical) won the New York Stakes (G2) among others and has since produced the triple Canadian champion and Natalma Stakes (G1) winner Lady Speightspeare (Speightstown), while the third dam Lady Shirl (That’s A Nice) won the Flower Bowl Handicap (G1) among others.

The win was Gråberg’s third of the day. The Swede began in the Class 4 handicap over 2,400 metres, where the Hans-Inge Larsen-trained Checkmeout (Postponed) won by a neck from Nathalie Mortensen’s Tearaway Two (Churchill). From there it was three lengths to Peter Jardby’s American Lily (Bernardini).

The day’s biggest first prize followed in the Class 2 handicap over 1,200 metres, where Nicole Nordblad both trained and owned the winner.
Isabella Expert (Expert Eye) earned SEK 57,000 after a head victory over Maria Jansson’s Green Backspin (Exceed And Excel), who in turn was a neck in front of Oasis Diamond (Oasis Dream). Fifth came the 15-year-old Fiftyshadesfreed (Verglas).

The day had opened with the SAHF Stayer Cup over 2,200 metres for purebred Arabians, where Terese Compier was responsible for the winner as well as the second and fourth horses.
Katchthewind (Mared Al Sahra) and Alina Öhgren won by a neck from stablemate Madja De Faust (Madjani), while Maria Hagman-Eriksson’s Pistol Paddy (Paddys Day) was third not quite three lengths later.

In the Class 3 handicap over 1,600 metres Hotline Bling (Cotai Glory) defied the top weight of 61 kilos and won by a solid length under Anna Pilroth for Tobias Hellgren.
Behind Peter Jardby’s Navy Warrior (U S Navy Flag) in second it was as tight as it gets for the next places: a head separated him from Desert Heart (Oasis Dream), and from there it was two short heads down to the Kvisla-trained Midnight Philip (Coulsty) and Green Zabeel (Oasis Dream).

The day’s biggest field of 15 met in the Class 4 handicap over 1,200 metres. Nathalie Mortensen rode her own Coachella (Earthlight) to a commanding five-length win from 63 kilos, while Blackcurantspangle (Starspangledbanner) and Stall Plenum’s Steely Queen (Outstrip) followed.
The last of the prizes went to Marianne Halberg’s You Better Move On (Exceed And Excel) — the day’s only Klampenborg-trained runner, saddled by Kajsa Lindsjö.

Alina Öhgren rounded off with a double when the 11-year-old Layton (Masterstroke) won the Class 5 handicap over 1,600 metres easily by a length and a half.
Marie Lustig also had the third-placed Mudawy (Dark Angel), and both run in the colours of Grytåsa Ridcenter and Emelie Gustavsson. Lenitha Adolfsson’s Crack Up Gadelius (Cracksman) finished between them in second.
