A select number of Classically bred two year olds alongside a concise selection of highly rated horses in training, some of which may hold an entry at the Royal Meeting, will start Royal Ascot week off in some style. Indeed, this is sale that, like the Royal Meeting, will truly be about quality rather than quantity and I guarantee that we will put on some show”.

Welcoming the launch of Goffs London Sale, leading Breeze Up vendorWillie Browneof Mocklershill said:

“I’m up for it as this makes real sense. A later sale for a quality Breeze-Up horse that benefits from time can only be good and for it to be in London the day before the Royal Meeting will be terrific”

From a Horses In Training point of view,Pat Downes, Manager to HH The Aga Khan in Ireland is enthusiastic about the new concept:

“Having an outlet for quality form horses at a time when so many domestic and international buyers are in one place is a superb idea; we certainly hope to be involved in Goffs London Sale”

“I’ll definitely be supporting Goffs London Sale as a combination of the surface and the timing make it a really exciting concept. The surface ensures trainers take delivery of sound horses after their breeze and everyone is in the right frame of mind on the eve of Royal Ascot”

The Goffs Ready to Run Sale will not be held in 2014 and the best of those sharp early types will be offered places in the DBS Breeze Up which has an outstanding record for selling two year olds of precocity.
